Hi Everyone!

Rett and I have been working on something pretty cool, and I think we’re at a place where we can start sharing the adventure! Back in February God started to open doors for our family to get involved in ministry in Japan through our local church body (Elevate Church in Mankato, MN) and The Evangelical Alliance Mission (TEAM) organization. At this point we are hoping to go on a short-term trip to Japan, for two weeks, this September, to get acquainted with the established TEAM staff and ministries already working for the Gospel in Japan (and so Rett can get a taste of international travel).

The goal of this website is to keep the Elevate community, family, and friends involved and updated as things change and the adventure continues. We hope that you will be encouraged and uplifted by everything you read here, and that you will take the opportunity to support this ministry through prayer (I am hoping to include prayer requests above every post) and other means as God leads you (I will post material needs as they come up – rarely – feel free to pray for them or provide for them as you are lead).

We are so thankful for God’s guidance and provision that has brought us this far, and for the encouragement of all the wonderful people in our lives (yes – dear reader – we mean you). Check back every Thursday for updates while we are here (If I can muster some discipline), and every day while we are abroad (Lord willin’ and the creek don’t rise!).
