Transitions

Prayer Request: That we would begin earnestly preparing for the next Bible Study we are moderating, and be filled with joy in our study of God’s Word.

Mission Update:  I (Kim) got my passport in the mail this week! That is the last piece of the puzzle on our end, so now we are just waiting to hear back from TEAM.

Sunday was our last day of Bible Study for the 1 Corinthians group we are moderating! This was the first time either Rett or I have had a leadership role in a Bible Study, and it has been really great to see God working in this group and in us as we study His Word together. Now we are transitioning to preparation for the 2 Corinthians portion starting in July. Since life has been a bit busy I kind of want to take some time off and do nothing, but if I think about it, probably the most restful thing I could be doing is spending time in the Bible. Other than that, Rett and I have been working on putting in some garden beds and planting them (while struggling through the last bit of some colds/ bronchitis). It was pretty exhausting, but since we have been working on the garden beds since last summer this was a HUGE answer to prayer! I even got the tomatoes, zucchini, and strawberries transplanted, so I am very satisfied with the progress we have made so far.

Kid’s Space: The kids have teetered between sad and whiney, and thankful and happy all this week as we have been working on house projects. Alas, they are little kids and life has been less-than-perfectly-predictable lately. 🙂 They had lots of fun when we got the kiddie pool out for the first time. It was hot enough for them to enjoy the fresh-from-the-hose temperature water and they got to splash as much as they wanted!
