Overdue Update!

Prayer Request: Perseverance, health, and understanding for the classes we are taking this spring.

Happy 2018 Everyone!

I just wanted to do an end-of-the-year update on our path towards missions, and let you know what we’ve been up to for the last few months!

Rett and I have been accepted to Dallas Theological Seminary’s Masters of Arts in Cross-Cultural Ministries program and we began online classes last month (January 2018)! In order to work with TEAM in Japan long-term we have to take 4 classes covering the Old Testament, New Testament, Systematic Theology, and World Missions, but we feel led to pursue an entire Master of Arts degree program for the solid foundation it would provide.

In other news: our family is doing well. We have been persevering through a lot of inconveniences (sickness, furnace issues, childcare changes, medical care changes, and relationship tension), but God is using all of these things to grow us, and because of this we can have some joy from our struggles.

I do plan to finish uploading (polishing) our journals from our trip to Japan, not from a feeling of obligation, but because I truly desire to share these experiences with you. I have hope then, that this will happen. 😉
