WE ARE MOVING!!! The big changes we asked you all to pray about at the end of 2022, have come into being! At the end of this month we are picking up our things from Dallas and moving to Colorado Springs, CO. Kim has accepted a position at BEE World (Bible Education by Extension) as their new Operations Administrator and is excited to take on new responsibilities in the coming weeks. If you remember, this is the same organization Kim worked with during her internship in 2021-2022 where she learned more about alternative models of Bible education for church leaders in under-resourced areas. Her experience working alongside the innovative, God-honoring, and humble missionaries at BEE World and our support for their ministry model, which empowers local church leaders to continue the program after graduation by training other local church leaders, has resulted in this organization occupying a special place in our hearts and we are overjoyed that through God's leading and provision, Kim will get to be a part of the work God is doing through BEE World. If you think of us during this period of transition, please pray for strength and safety for the task of moving.
Family Update
Rett is praying about pursuing a position at BEE World that would require support raising. Please pray for wisdom in this decision and for provision of funds if it is God's will for Rett to work as an international facilitator for BEE World's curriculum. Kim is doing a lot of the planning for our move in addition to continuing her education over the summer, and learning her new role. Please pray for God's wisdom and for her to experience his peace and rest in the midst of the busyness.
Ryan and Cecilia are excited for the upcoming move and to be living in a house for the first time in four years! Ryan is enjoying learning drums and learning to cook new and interesting foods, while Cecilia is hopeful to have more opportunities for bike riding and to maybe learn gymnastics after the move. Cecilia is also excited to announce that she received baptism on April 9th, affirming her commitment to trust in Jesus and grow in her walk with him, publicly in front of our church congregation. Please pray for new friends and healthy expectations during our move to a new neighborhood, a new church community, and a new school in the fall.
River (our cat) is very excited to have even more opportunities to escape to the grand outdoors during the move. We would appreciate your prayers for her attempts to be unsuccessful.
